No-Guessing Minesweeper Rankings by Best Time

This table ranks accepted No-Guessing wins recorded on Minesweeper.now by best completion time in a separate logic-only pool.

The generator verifies a deduction path before serving each board. Filter by difficulty and season; these results do not include Standard-mode games or other Minesweeper platforms. The current Intermediate record in this category is 23.093s, set by qqwref, and the 11 fastest ranked players average 67.5s.

How No-Guessing Minesweeper Rankings Work

  • No-Guessing rankings only accept wins on logically solvable boards - the generator guarantees a deduction path exists from the first click to the last cell.
  • Expect slower times than Standard: NG boards force complete deduction chains, so a 60-second NG expert clear can outrank a 40-second Standard clear in skill terms.
  • The NG player pool is smaller and more specialised - if you are a methodical solver rather than a speed-clicker, this is usually your best path to a top-100 placement.
  • Sorting is by best completion time per difficulty. Only your single best NG solve counts, and Standard times never mix into this table.
  • Use the season filter for a specific competition window. With no season selected, the table compares active all-time records.

How to Improve Your Minesweeper Rank

1

Master the deduction patterns first.

NG boards are built so every cell falls to a known pattern or a counting argument. Learning the 1-2-1, 1-2-2-1, and edge-count patterns is worth more here than raw click speed.
2

Verify the frontier before acting.

A wrong flag can end a run. Clear the certain region, then pause at each deduction point long enough to prove the next safe cell or mine.
3

Compare your position across both pools.

Standard and No-Guessing have separate entry counts and times. Read both live tables instead of assuming one pool is always smaller or easier to rank in.
4

Submit through official gameplay only.

Only games completed through the ranked No-Guessing mode are recorded here. Practice mode runs do not count toward the leaderboard.

Pro Tips
  • Use efficiency to review action choice. Exactly 100% means recorded actions equal 3BV; values above or below that describe the formula, not a universal skill tier.
  • Check both Standard and No-Guessing tabs for your rank. The modes use separate tables, so comparing your place and the number of entrants shows where your current results are strongest.
  • Record a time before the season ends. A ranked solve during the season gives you a place in that competition window, and the final order is archived after the cutoff.
