No-Guessing Minesweeper
No-Guessing Minesweeper generates boards where every move can be solved by logic. You still need to read the numbers carefully, but you are never forced into a true 50/50 guess.
Play No-Guessing Minesweeper Online
No-Guessing mode is built for players who want pure deduction. If you get stuck, there is always another logical clue to find somewhere on the board, making it ideal for learning patterns and practicing careful reasoning.

No forced guesses
Every board avoids true 50/50 situations, so losses come from missed logic rather than bad luck.
Great for practice
Because a logical move always exists, this mode trains pattern recognition and board scanning.
Separate rankings
No-Guessing results are tracked separately from Standard mode so the competition stays fair.
No-Guessing Minesweeper Strategy
Trust the guarantee. The single biggest mindset shift in No-Guessing mode is that an apparent 50/50 is never actually a 50/50 - the solution always exists somewhere. When you hit a wall, stop staring at the ambiguous pair and sweep the rest of the frontier: the resolving clue is usually several cells away, often reachable only through a chain of deductions.
Mine counting matters more here than in Standard play. Late in a No-Guessing board, comparing the remaining mine count against the constraints on the frontier is frequently the intended final deduction. If the counter shows two mines and your patterns account for two possible regions, one of those regions is provably empty.
Use No-Guessing as pattern training for ranked Standard play. Because every board is a fair logic puzzle, your losses always identify a pattern you have not internalised yet. Many players alternate: learn deductions here, then convert them into speed on the Expert board.

No-Guessing Minesweeper FAQ
What is No-Guessing Minesweeper?
No-Guessing (NG) Minesweeper is a variant where the board generator verifies that the entire board can be solved by logic alone from the first click - you are never forced into a blind 50/50 guess. If you lose, there was always a deduction you missed.
Is No-Guessing Minesweeper harder than normal Minesweeper?
The boards take longer to solve because the generator routes you through real deduction chains instead of letting luck shortcut them, so NG times run slower than Standard times. But it is 'harder' only in the way a fair puzzle is harder than a coin flip - every situation has an answer.
Do No-Guessing results count on the main Minesweeper leaderboard?
No. No-Guessing has its own separate ranking pool on Minesweeper.now, so logic-only times are never compared against Standard-mode times. You can compete in both pools independently.
