Best Minesweeper Players by Skill and Wins

All-time 3BV/s, efficiency and win leaders

This Minesweeper.now player table compares 3BV/s, click efficiency and lifetime wins without resetting each season. Difficulty filters limit the list to players who hold an active record on that board; the wins column is the player's lifetime account total, not a difficulty-only count. For fastest accepted platform times, use the time rankings. The all-time Expert record stands at 57.735s, held by qqwref.

How the All-Time Player Rankings Work

  • Best Times ranks players by their single fastest solve per difficulty - a direct measure of raw speed, independent of season.
  • 3BV/s (Bechtel's Board Benchmark Value per second) divides board value by solve time. It adds workload context to raw seconds, but time still determines the main leaderboard order.
  • Efficiency is the percentage of your clicks that were necessary. 100 % means zero wasted clicks - no redundant flags, no mis-clicks, no unnecessary chords.
  • Total Wins is the lifetime account win count. The difficulty filter requires an active record on that board, but the win total itself covers the whole account.
  • This is an all-time leaderboard - it is never reset by seasons. For within-season standings and seasonal rewards, visit Season Leaders.

How to Improve 3BV/s, Efficiency and Wins

1

Compare one board at a time.

Choose Beginner, Intermediate or Expert before reading the table. Each board has different dimensions, mine counts and typical workloads, so cross-difficulty time comparisons do not answer the same question.
2

Read time and 3BV/s together.

Time determines placement. 3BV/s shows how much measured board work was completed per second, helping explain whether two similarly timed runs carried similar workloads.
3

Use efficiency to find wasted actions.

Efficiency falls when a run uses extra reveals, unnecessary flags or unproductive chords. Compare several runs on the same settings before treating one percentage as a real trend.
4

Use wins as an activity measure.

Best time, 3BV/s and efficiency describe a best accepted run. Total Wins answers a different question: how many games the account has won across its lifetime on this platform.

The efficiency & 3BV/s guide shows how the metrics on this table are calculated, and the patterns guide explains the deductions used on the board. Then record your own result on the Expert Minesweeper board.

Pro Tips
  • Sign in to see your row highlighted. When authenticated, your entry is highlighted in purple across all categories - making it easy to spot your standing and the gap to the player immediately above you.
  • Cross-reference Best Times and 3BV/s for a fair comparison. A player ranked top-5 on Best Times but #20 on 3BV/s likely had one great run on an easy board. The player ranking top-10 on both is the more consistently skilled competitor.
  • Click any player name to view their full profile. Profiles show trophies, equipment, rank history, and recent games - useful for studying patterns in how top players approach each difficulty.
