Expert Minesweeper Leaderboard: Fastest 30x16 Players
This table ranks accepted games recorded on Minesweeper.now by best completion time and shows 3BV/s and efficiency as supporting metrics.
This is a platform leaderboard, not an official cross-platform world-record list. Filter by difficulty and season, or switch to the separate No-Guessing pool. The current Expert record in this category is 57.735s, set by qqwref, and the 9 fastest ranked players average 287.8s.
Expert uses a 30x16 grid with 99 mines and 20.6 percent density. This table ranks the fastest accepted Minesweeper.now runs on that exact preset. Alongside each time you get the board's 3BV, the player's 3BV/s and their efficiency, which provide workload and action context for the raw completion time.

What Counts as a Good Expert Time
A good Expert time is a time that ranks well against other accepted 30x16, 99-mine results under the same rules. The live table above owns that platform comparison; it does not claim to be an external world-record list.
Use the time-percentile checker for a direct answer from the current Minesweeper.now sample. Its median and fastest-10-percent cutoff update when the active ranking changes.
For personal progress, compare several Expert finishes rather than one best result. Board layouts vary, so a repeated change in your median, 3BV/s or efficiency carries more evidence than a single unusually favourable board.
3BV and 3BV/s on Expert Boards
Expert uses fixed dimensions and mine count, but its exact layouts can contain different numbers and sizes of openings. 3BV records that measured clearing workload.
3BV/s divides the displayed board value by solve time. Use it to explain workload differences between runs, while remembering that raw completion time still sets the main leaderboard order.
How to Climb the Expert Leaderboard
Work along the frontier where revealed numbers still touch covered cells. Compare overlapping clues instead of reading each number in isolation; the difference between their constraints often proves the next safe cell or mine.
Use flags when they enable a chord, then inspect efficiency after the game for extra actions. Use 3BV/s to see whether a faster clock also represented a faster measured work rate.
Repeat on the same mode and difficulty so your results are comparable. The ranking stores the best accepted result, while your own set of recent games shows consistency.
What this Expert ranking measures
This table keeps one active best result per player for the Expert board. Time sets the order; 3BV/s explains how quickly the player solved the board's required work, while efficiency shows how much of each action was useful. Read all three together before comparing two runs.
