What makes a time good here?

A result is good relative to a named board, mode, and comparison field. This checker uses active Standard-mode ranked results on Minesweeper.now. It does not invent a universal skill cutoff or claim to represent every player elsewhere.

Use the median as the first useful line

A finish below the live median is faster than at least half of the current field. Once you are below that line, the fastest 10% cutoff becomes a clearer next target. If your result is above the median, compare the gap with your own recent finishes and reduce it in manageable steps.

Do not compare different boards as if they were equal

Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert have different dimensions and mine counts. This page also keeps Standard results separate from the No-Guessing ranking, because its board-generation rules and player field differ.

When raw time leaves out the board

Two identical finish times can come from boards with different click workloads. Use the 3BV board laboratory to calculate that workload, then compare 3BV/s when you need a board-adjusted view.
