How the All-Time Player Rankings Work

- 3BV/s (Bechtel's Board Benchmark Value per second) divides board value by solve time. It adds workload context to raw seconds, but time still determines the main leaderboard order.

How to Improve 3BV/s, Efficiency and Wins

Compare one board at a time.
Choose Beginner, Intermediate or Expert before reading the table. Each board has different dimensions, mine counts and typical workloads, so cross-difficulty time comparisons do not answer the same question.2
Read time and 3BV/s together.
Time determines placement. 3BV/s shows how much measured board work was completed per second, helping explain whether two similarly timed runs carried similar workloads.3
Use efficiency to find wasted actions.
Efficiency falls when a run uses extra reveals, unnecessary flags or unproductive chords. Compare several runs on the same settings before treating one percentage as a real trend.4
Use wins as an activity measure.
Best time, 3BV/s and efficiency describe a best accepted run.
